172 Pearland runners complete ConocoPhillips Rodeo 10K Run

A total of 172 Pearland athletes completed the ConocoPhillips Rodeo 10K Run on Feb. 23 in Houston.

Race organizers said 6,299 runners finished the 10K race, which began and ended in downtown Houston.

Sammy Kiplagat, of Glen Drive, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 30:37, while Mary H. Davies, of Houston, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 32:53.
