Red Hat Literacy Luncheon set for March 28

Luncheon guest speaker Tom Abrahams, Channel 13 news anchor and author.

The Adult Reading Center will hold its annual Red Hat Literacy Luncheon on Thursday, March 28.

According to a press release from the Adult Reading Center, "The Red Hat Literacy Luncheon is an an event that celebrates the community's enthusiasm in developing better reading skills."

The event, which begins at 10:30 a.m., will include a speech by Tom Abrahams.

According to the press release, "Weekend evening anchor Tom Abrahams has traveled the world for Eyewitness News since arriving from Orlando in 1999. Tom also covers national politics and stories that relate to energy, the environment and the economy."

The event will be held at Knights of Columbus Hall, 2320 Hatfield Road, Pearland
