Pearland Theatre Guild offering two summer classes

The Pearland Theatre Guild in Houston is offering two classes.

A Broadway Smash Up class will be offered at 8:30 a.m. from Monday through Friday,  June 10-14. The cost is $160 and advance registration is required.

According to a press release from Pearland Theatre Guild, "Students will learn fantastic Broadway show tunes from such as favorites as Wicked, Hairspray, Grease and Annie in this musical theater camp. Students, ages 10 to 14, will learn choreography and vocal selections to present in a showcase on the last day of the camp for family and friends."

A Puppets and a Plays class will be offered at 8:30 a.m. from Monday through Friday, June 17-21. The cost is $160.

According to the press release, "Come join this fun-filled week at camp learning how to make various kinds of puppets while developing storytelling and presentation skills. Students, ages 5 to 9,  will also write and perform an original play to be performed for family and friends on the last day of camp."
