Deer Park runner completes Rhythm and Blues 5K

Deer Park runner Rhonda Shepherd completed the Rhythm and Blues 5K on Sunday, Feb. 10 in Houston.

The 37-year-old runner finished in 34:16.

Race organizers said 1,174 runners finished the 5K race, which began and ended at Sam Houston Park.

Stephen Ward was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 17:28, while Rebecca Eggeling was the winner in the women's category with a time of 20:06.
