Sheila Olivarez named as Pearland 2012 Employee of the Year
Sheila Olivarez was named the Pearland 2012 Employee of the Year by city manager Bill Eisen.
According to a city release, the award is given in recognition of a city employee who demonstrates the core beliefs of the city by being responsive, accountable and trustworthy. Recipients have demonstrated these core values during the year as well as meeting specific goals and going above and beyond what is required of them.
Olivarez is the point of contact with the Projects Department. According to award organizers, In this role she works with residents and has shown compassion and respect with everyone. During the year, employees continued to notice Olivarez's strong work ethic, professionalism and commitment to service.
