Friendswood Fire Marshals Office scheduled Skywarn class
The Friendswood Fire Marshals Office of Emergency Management will host a Skywarn class Thursday, Feb. 7.
According to an office release, the program, sponsored by the National Weather Service Office is intended to show volunteers what to watch for in the skies during severe weather and how to relay reports back to the local Emergency Management Office and the National Weather Service.
The class is scheduled to take place from 2-4:30 p.m. at Friendswood Public Library, 416 S. Friendswood Drive., Friendswood.
Those interested in the class should register by Wednesday, Feb. 6 by emailing eoc@friendswood.com or calling the Fire Marshals Office at 281-996-3335.
