Health Occupations Students of America complete tests for competitive events
Students in Health Occupation of America club and health care science courses completed their first round of on-line tests for competitive events, it was recently announced.
According to a press release from Health Occupations Students of America, "HOSA has 12 students going that required an on-line test and have 16 more students going on to the contest as their first round of competition."
The contest will be Friday and Saturday, Feb 8-9 at L.V. Hightower High School in Missouri City.
In other HOSA news, the club helped at the EMS Open House in October, sponsored a first grade class from South Shaver school in Pasadena and collected toys for each student in that class,according to the release.
HOSA also had two fundraisers, popcorn sales and candle sales that brought in about $1500 to the club, according to the release.
