Two Deer Park runners complete 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Marathon

Two Deer Park athletes completed the 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Marathon on Sunday, Dec. 9.

David Stockton crossed the finish line in 4:22:35 and Don Padilla finished in 4:44:34.

Race organizers said 4874 runners finished the 26.2-mile race, which began and ended at Downtown Dallas.

Vladimir Safranov of Russia was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 2:19:38, while Nastassia Padalinskaya of Belarus was the winner in the women's category with a time of 2:43:56.
