Genealogy class available at Alvin College
Registration is under way for a Genealogy class at Alvin College.
According to a college release, genealogy classes for beginners will give students the opportunity to learn the basic concept of researching a family tree, and Genealogy Research Techniques, which involves an overview of the major genealogical databases available through subscription or in local libraries including the Alvin Public Library and the Clayton Center for Genealogical Research in Houston.
The course will be taught by professor Nick Cimino.
The Alvin college is located at 3110 Mustang Road, Alvin.
