Young musicians from the Global Organization for Divinity performed a benefit show Saturday, Dec. 22 in Pearland.
According to a Global Organization for Divinity press release, Melody of Compassion was an ensemble of musicians directed by Houston's Rajarajeswary Bhat.
The performance was to help raise funds for the construction of a charitable health care facility in rural India.
The show was held at Pearland's Turner High School auditorium, 4717 Bailey Road, Pearland.
Global Organization for Divinity is a worldwide organization involved in social and spiritual activities in several countries. In Houston, the group established the Namadwaar prayer house and conducts the annual Life and Soul community health fair, according to the release.
