Chavez grad Fenton plays in New Mexico loss
Chavez High School graduate Jamal Fenton played for New Mexico in kts 60-46 road loss to St. Louis Monday, Dec. 31, New Mexico's website reported.
The University of New Mexico senior guard recorded two rebounds for the Lobos, who are 13-2 on the season.
New Mexico's next game is 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at home against UNLV.
Fenton was rated a three-star recruit by Scout.com and Rivals.com entering his senior season of play at Cesar E. Chavez in 2008-2009 playing for head coach Kevin Pullum. He was also ranked in the top-10 in the Houston area by RCSSports.com and top-20 in Texas by TexasHoops.com. He is the son of Hyron and Gail Fenton.
