Friendswood High School students place at speech tournament

Friendswood High School Students Jim Bockmon, Nader Asgari-Tari, Jacob Segal, Charles Yeager and Lisa Harringon placed at the Clear Brook Speech Tournament.

Five Friendswood High School students recently placed at the Clear Brook Speech tournament.

According to a press release from the high school, "Jim Bockmon and Nader Asgari-Tari won first place in CCX debate. Bockmon won the third place speaker award. Nader Asgari-Tari won first place in foreign extemp. Jacob Segal won first place in novice prose, seventh place in oration and eighth place in impromptu category. Lisa Harringon won second place in novice prose and Charles Yeager won seventh place in novice extemp."

The school made the announcement on Monday, Dec. 17.

Friendswood High School is a public secondary school located in Friendswood. Friendswood High School is a 4A educational facility which serves grades nine through 12 and is a part of the Friendswood Independent School District. The school is located at 302 Laurel, Friendswood.
