Pearland announces options for recycling Christmas trees
The city of Pearland announced that residents have two options to recycle Christmas trees this holiday season.
According to the press release, "From Wednesday, Dec. 26 through Friday, Jan. 11 (facility is closed on Jan. 1), residents can donate trees to the Brazoria County Dunes Project by dropping them off at the Stella Roberts Recycling Center, at 5800 Magnolia, Pearland, during normal business hours or at the Brazoria County Precinct 2 Work Yard, at 7315 Corporate Drive, Manvel. The Work Yard is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Additionally, single family dwellings in the city of Pearland may leave their tree curbside on green waste and recycling day (second trash day of the week)."
All recycled trees must be taken off the stand and be completely free of flocking, ornaments, tinsel, and lights.
