5 Pearland High School students advance in choir auditions

Five Pearland High School choir members have advanced to the Texas All-State Choir Area Audition.

According to the high school, "Advancing singers include Haley Holtje, soprano one; Ellie Herder and Shelby Allison, soprano two; Ariana Randal, alto two; and Vinnie Mahal, tenor one."

Students named as choir alternates are Heather Stevens, soprano two; Sean Lipscomb, tenor one; Jeffrey Stone, tenor two; Nathan Stevens, bass one; and Bryan Markley, bass two second alternate.

The high school made the announcement on Monday, Dec. 3. The students will advance to the final audition for the All-State Choir on Saturday, Jan. 12 at Deer Park High School.

Pearland High School is at 3775 S. Main, Pearland.
