Pearland grad Nussman plays in St. Edward's loss

Harley Nussman, St. Edward's University

Pearland High School graduate Harley Nussman scored four points, but his St. Edward's University basketball team dropped a 67-54 loss to Arkansas, Fort Smith Thursday, Nov. 29 at Stubblefield Center in Fort Smith, according to the St. Edward's website.

Nussman also recorded six rebounds and one assist for the Hilltoppers, who are 4-4 on the season.

St. Edward's also played Saturday, Dec. 1 at Newman.

Nussman is a sophomore forward for St. Edward's. He is a 2011 graduate of Pearland, where he was named first-team all-district during his junior and senior years and MVP of the team. He was a member of National Honor Society and the Science National Honor Society. He spent one year at Murray State. The biology major is from Pearland and is the son of Craig and Stephanie Nussman.
