Two Pearland runners complete Fox & Turkey 4-Miler

Two athletes from Pearland completed the Fox & Turkey 4-Miler on Nov. 22 in Batavia, Ill.

The runners from Pearland and their finishing times were Katelyn Schwing, who finished in 33:08, and Alan Schwing, who crossed the finish line in 1:06:07.

According to Fox & Turkey 4-Miler organizers, a total of 1,801 runners finished the 4-mile race.

Kevin Sparks, of Geneva, Ill., was the men's overall winner with a time of 20:22, while Elisia Meyle, of North Aurora, Ill., was the winner in the women's category with 23:39.
