Pearland grad Nussman helps St. Edward's to win
Pearland High School graduate Harley Nussman scored 10 points to help St. Edward's University to a 75-62 men's basketball win over University of the Incarnate Word Saturday, Nov. 24 at McDermott Center in San Antonio, the St. Edward's website reported.
Nussman also picked five rebounds as the Hilltoppers improved to 4-3 on the season. St. Edward's next game is at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29 at UA Fort Smith.
Nussman is a sophomore forward for St. Edward's. The 2011 graduate of Pearland High School was named first-team all-district during his junior and senior years and MVP of the team. He was a member of the National Honor Society and the Science National Honor Society. He spent one year at Murray State. The biology major is from Pearland and is the son of Craig and Stephanie Nussman.
