Alvin Community College hosts law enforcement workshop

The Alvin Community College Criminal Justice Department hosted a Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education special workshop Tuesday, Oct. 30.

According to a press release from Alvin Community College, "over one hundred thirty Texas Peace Officers attended from across the state. The Law Enforcement Workshop was conducted to familiarize law enforcement administrators and trainers with changes in the TCLEOSE rules."

The workshop was lead by Supervisory Agent for Field Services Richard Gutierrez and Field Agent Doug Staudt.
