Baybrook Mall has opened a holiday winter wonderland for shoppers in the courtyard by Sears.

According to a press release, the mall took the song "Walking in a Winter Wonderland" and brought it to life by creating a holiday scene that includes a deer family, a snowy cabin by a frozen brook and benches where shoppers can stop to sit. Fantasy snow flurries fall at moments throughout the day.

"The holidays can be so busy, with decorating and shopping and entertaining, we are hoping that our Winter Wonderland reminds our shoppers of the beauty of the season," Mary Evans, marketing manager for Baybrook Mall, said in the release. "We're not likely to have snow here this season, so we created a scene that is postcard-perfect. It's a little bit of magic. The children love walking around, discovering the deer and the little house. And we have had lots of families who have used the setting as a backdrop for their holiday cards. It's just a little bit of old-fashioned magic for all to enjoy. Santa says it reminds him of home."
