Gas prices in and around Pearland were lower than the averages for Houston and the country as a whole this week, according to data from the price-tracking website gasbuddy.com.

Visitors to the gasbuddy.com website reported rates for thirty six gas stations in and around Pearlandas of Saturday, Nov. 17. The average price of regular unleaded gas in Pearland is $2.98 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Houston average at $3.12, the state average at $3.14 and the nationwide average at $3.44.

The least expensive gas in Pearland is reported to be $2.91 for a gallon of regular unleaded, which gasbuddy.com contributors logged at RaceWay, 10521 Broadway St.; and Express Food Mart, 2255 County Place Parkway.

A gasbuddy.com user reported the most expensive gas in the area at $3.19, at Conoco, 2620 McHard Road.
