Friendswood Economic Development Office received awards at conference
The city of Friendswood Economic Development Office announced that it received three excellence in economic development awards during the International Economic Development Council annual conference Tuesday, Oct. 2 in Houston.
The three awards were won in the categories of Paid Advertising Campaign, General Purpose Brochure and General Purpose Promotion.
According to a press release, IEDC's Excellence in Economic Development Awards recognize the world's best economic development programs and partnerships, marketing materials, and the year's most influential leaders. These awards honor organizations and individuals for their efforts in creating positive change in urban, suburban and rural communities.
