Three Pearland runners complete Marine Corps Marathon

Three athletes from Pearland completed the Marine Corps Marathon on Oct. 28 in Arlington, Va.

The runners from Pearland and their finishing times were Jason Molinari, 35, 3:57:45; Elizabeth Horton, 46, 4:03:33; and Duc Hoang, 44, 5:32:51.

According to Marine Corps Marathon organizers, a total of 23,520 runners finished the 26.2-mile race.

Augustus Maiyo, of Colorado Springs, Colo., was the men's overall winner with a time of 2:20:20, while Hirut Guanqul, of Ellicott City, Md., was the winner in the women's category with a time of 2:42:03.
