Friendswood Economic Development Office receives three awards

The city of Friendswood Economic Development Office recently received three Excellence in Economic Development awards from the International Economic Development Council.

According to a press release, the awards were given in the paid advertising campaign, general purpose brochure and general purpose promotion categories during the IEDC annual conference in Houston on Tuesday, Oct. 2.

"We recognize city of Friendswood Economic Development Office for creating innovative and successful strategies to promote economic development in this period of global recovery," Jay Moon, chair of IEDC, said in the release. "Our awards honor organizations and individuals for their efforts in creating positive change in communities. City of Friendswood Economic Development Office demonstrates that they are at the forefront of the economic development profession and are using cutting-edge, effective practices that can be replicated in other communities."
