Pearland High School grad plays in Arkansas State University's losing game
Pearland High School graduate Jasmine Terry contributed in Arkansas State University's 3-1 loss to the University of North Texas in women's volleyball action Nov. 9.
Terry, a senior outside hitter, contributed three blocks and nine kills, along with a -.024 hitting percentage.
The Red Wolves lost 20-25, 18-25, 25-22 and 22-25 in Denton. The team is now 17-12 on the season.
The next contest for Arkansas State University is at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, on the road against Louisiana-Monroe.
Terry, a senior outside hitter for Arkansas State University, graduated from Pearland High School in 2009. The psychology major is a Pearland native and the daughter of Derick and Jamesetta Terry.
