ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Harley Kelly

Q: Where are you going to play college volleyball?
A: I’ve committed to the University of Oklahoma on a volleyball scholarship. I’m going to major in nursing.

Q: What’s fun about playing outside hitter?
A: I like being able to be the outlet for a play; I know I can be open for anyone on the court to hit. It’s pretty fun to score points.

Q: How long have you been on varsity?
A: I’ve been playing with the varsity squad since I was a freshman. It’s kind of sad, losing our seniors after this season, so we’re trying to go as far as we can.

Q: You’re rated No. 2 in the state?
A: That’s right. Our toughest competition will be Lovejoy, but we can only meet them in state; if we get to the state finals, that is.
