The Texas Association of School Administrators has selected Alvin ISD Superintendent Fred Brent to participate in the Future-Ready Leadership Institute.
Future-Ready Leadership Institute is a TASA training program, and Brent will participate with 39 other superintendents from throughout Texas to learn how to integrate progressive learning programs and modern learning technology in their schools.
Areas of focus in the program include project learning, action research, flipped-classrooms design thinking and more.
The program will have five sessions, with the first meeting set for Thursday, Nov. 8, followed by four more sessions continuing through September 2013.
