Friendswood school district offering free radKIDS instructor training
The Laura Recovery Center and Friendswood Independent School District will be sponsoring radKIDS instructor training this fall.
The training will take place from Monday, Oct. 29, to Thursday, Nov. 1.
RadKids is a personal empowerment program that emphasizes children's personal safety education, according to press release from the school district. Teachers, law enforcement officers and private citizens who want to make a difference in children's lives are invited to become radKIDs instructors.
The instructor training is free, but a commitment to teach the program once or twice a year for the next two years is asked, according to the release.
Participants are asked to register early, as space is limited.
For more information, call 281-482-5723 or visit lrcf.org to download the registration form.
