Hunter education classes offered at Bass Pro Shops

Hunter education classes will be available through licensed instructor John B. Miller on Sept. 7-8, Oct. 5-6 and Nov. 16-17 in the Conservation Room of Bass Pro Shops, located at 1000 Basspro Drive in Pearland.   All persons born on or after Sept. 2, 1971 are required by the State of Texas to take and pass the class, which lasts two days and costs $15 to attend.   Participants must attend both days to receive Texas state certification, which meets many out-of-state license requirements.   Reservations are required, and classes will fill more quickly as hunting season approaches.    For more information, call Miller at 281-458-3038.
