New board members elected for Pearland Little League
Pearland Little League members elected directors and officers for the 2012-13 season during its recent annual general meeting. A total of 25 of the 29 positions were elected and 16 of those will be occupied by new people. Seven positions will be filled with first-time board members. The new officers include Erik Brown, president; Erik Romo, senior vice president; Vince Gabino, Little League vice president; Steve Broeder, treasurer; and Nicole Sebok, secretary. Serving as directors will be Danny Perez (senior), Matt Helpenstill (junior), Kent Sanders (major), Dave Smith (minor), Fred Demmon (Pee Wee), Bruce Cook (machine pitch), Joe Sanchez (T-ball), Joe Aguilar (instructional T-ball), Scott Roberts (Challenger), Cristina Scott (booster club), Jill Scaffidi (sponsorship), Jennifer Gabino (concessions), Michael D. Davis (purchasing), Danny Rhodes (senior maintenance), Joe DuGas (maintenance), DeWight Dopslauf (maintenance), Mike Newman (information), Jamie Scaffidi (scheduling), Kevin Martinez (safety) and Tanya Roblyer (player agent).
