Woodlands runner completes Hottest 10K

Nicolas Gonzales Nagels, 36, of The Woodlands completed the Hottest 10K in 54:18 on Aug. 12 in Dallas.

A total of 523 runners finished the 10K race, which started and ended in the Norbuck Park parking lot.

Scott Stemberger of Dallas was the men's overall winner with a time of 37:24. Rachel Phillips, also of Dallas, was the women's winner in 38:42.
