La Marque releases 2012 football schedule
La Marque kicks off its 2012 football season at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 30, at home against Ball.
The Cougars travel to Texas City on Friday, Sept. 7, before returning home at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 14 against Coldspring-Oakhurst. A Saturday, Sept. 22 road game at Lamar Consolidated is followed by a 7:30 p.m. start on Friday, Sept. 28 vs. St. Pius X to finish the first half of the season.
The second half opens with a pair of 7:30 p.m. home games, on Friday, Oct. 12 against Sweeny, and Friday, Oct. 19 vs. KIPP Sunnyside. Next is a 7:30 p.m. road game on Friday, Oct. 26 at Bishop Lynch, followed by the final home game at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2 against Columbia. The regular season concludes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9 at Stafford.
La Marque is at 300 Vauthier Road.
