Bay Area Hounds youth hockey program looking for equipment donations
The Bay Area Hounds youth ice hockey program is currently seeking donations of equipment.
The program maintains a used equipment shed, where equipment that is still in good shape is kept until given to a new or younger player.
The used equipment helps to make hockey more affordable for parents and players.
In operation since 2004, the shed is a one-of-a-kind program in the Houston area.
Donations of skates, pads, pants, helmets, sticks, bags and other hockey equipment is accepted and can be dropped off at the Space City Ice Station Rink between Clear Lake City Boulevard and El Dorado, in Houston.
