Two Deer Park runners complete The Wipro San Francisco Marathon
Two runners from Deer Park completed The Wipro San Francisco Marathon on July 29 in California.
Renna Johantges, 17, completed the race in 5:04:19, while Jeff Johantges, 56, crossed the finish line in 5:25:50.
A total of 6,493 runners finished the 26.2-mile race, which started and ended on the Embarcadero near the Ferry Building. The course is USA Track and Field-certified, and is a qualifying race for the Boston Marathon.
Nathan Krah of Salt Lake City, Utah, was the men's overall winner with a time of 2:26:44. Devon Crosby-Helms of San Francisco won the women's division in 2:44:02.
