Two Pearland runners complete The Wipro San Francisco First Half Marathon
Two runners from Pearland completed The Wipro San Francisco First Half Marathon on July 29 in California.
Kendrick Glenn, 38, completed the race in 2:08:13, while Liza Criswell, 41, crossed the finish line in 2:21:06.
A total of 7,400 runners finished the 13.1-mile race, which covered the first half of a marathon route, starting on the Embarcadero near the Ferry Building, and ending in Golden Gate Park. The course is USA Track and Field-certified.
Tim Abarca of Highland, Calif., was the men's overall winner with a time of 1:18:09, while Marie Parks of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., was the winner in the women's category with 1:31:03.
