Pearland Town Center offering back-to-school activities

The Pearland Town Center is hosting several back-to-school activities this month including a school supply drive, movie night and burger night fundraiser at Stadia Sports Grill.

The center is partnering with the Houston YMCA in its "Operation Back Pack" program from 6-10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11. Attendees are encouraged to bring new backpacks and school supplies to a booth located near the center's event pavilion.

A screening of "The Muppets" will begin at 8:30 p.m. in the event pavilion. Admission to the movie is free, but donations to the school supply fundraiser are encouraged.

Stadia Sports Grill is offering a $500 back-to-school shopping spree at the Pearland Town Center for its lunch customers through Wednesday, Aug. 16. The drawing for the winner will be held Thursday, Aug. 16.

The center's Dippin' Dots ice cream store is offering a back-to-school special through the end of August. Customers will receive a free children's sized cup with the purchase of three large cups.

The Pearland Town Center is located at 11200 Broadway St. Its regular hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
