LEGO store to host three-day building event
The LEGO Store at Baybrook Mall will host a three-day building event for children Aug. 17-19.
The event, titled "Creation Nation," lets young builders use LEGO bricks to create favorite landmarks and buildings in the country. As children finish their structures, they will be added to a 12-foot by 15-foot map of the United States, building a full model of the United States by the last day.
Creation Nation will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 17; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18; and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 19 in the JCPenney court of the mall.
Baybrook Mall is located at I-45 South and Bay Area Boulevard in Friendswood.
The event is free and open until the map is filled.
