Pearland ISD second grade school supply list now available

Second grade students in the Pearland Independent School District will need the following supplies for the upcoming school year:

SECOND GRADE  Two pink beveled erasers; 36 number two standard yellow pencils; three boxes of 24-count crayons; fine tip black dry erase marker; two chisel tip black dry erase markers; canvas zipper pencil bag; 5-inch blunt tip scissors; one 4-ounce bottle of white school glue; two large white glue sticks; one 50-count pack of 9-by-12 inch white construction paper; one 20-count pack of 12-by-18 inch white construction paper; one 100-count pack of 3-by-5 inch ruled index cards; one 50-count pack of 9-by-12 inch assorted colors construction paper; 40 sheet count wide rule notebook paper; two each green and yellow 70 sheet wide rule spiral notebook; two spiral half-inch rule red baseline and dotted midline grade composition books; 100 sheet count marble composition book; three half-inch rule red baseline and dotted midline 8.5-by-11 inch tablets; two half-inch rule red baseline and dotted midline 8.5-by-11 inch story/writing tablets; one each orange, green, purple, red, yellow, light blue and blue paper pocket folders with brads; one red and blue plastic pocket folder; one 110-count box of facial tissues.

The elementary schools in the Pearland Independent School District are Barbara Cockrell, C.J.Harris, Challenger, E.A. Lawhon, H.C. Carleston, Magnolia, Massey Ranch, Rustic Oak, Shadycrest, Silvercrest and Silverlake. The first day of school is Monday, Aug. 27.
