Pearland participant completes YMCA Kiwanis Kids Triathlon
Ariel Perry, 9, of Pearland completed the YMCA Kiwanis Kids Triathlon in 14:49.
The event for children from 7 to 9 was held on Saturday, July 28 in The Woodlands.
A total of 238 participants finished the race, consisting of a 50-meter swim, one-mile bike ride, and 1/4-mile run.
Raul Alejandro Luzardo was the boy's overall winner with a time of 8:00. Anna Klein won the girl's division with 9:18.
