Pearland organizations participate in Neighbor to Neighbor program
A number of organizations in Pearland are participating in Kroger's Neighbor to Neighbor nonprofit fundraising program.
According to a press release, Kroger gives $1 million every year to nonprofits in Texas and Louisiana, and the Neighbor to Neighbor program gives the organizations an opportunity to earn a portion of the money.
The enrollment period for the current program year is June 1 through Dec. 31 and the accumulation period is July 1 through April 30, 2013. Resources and applications for the program are now also available in Spanish.
Pearland organizations currently participating in the program include All Texas Dachshund Rescue, Cap of Pearland, Christian Helping Hands, Garden Road Baptist, Eagle Heights Christian Academy, Forgotten Angels Inc., First United Methodist Church, H.C. Carleston Elementary School, the Monica Lamb Wellness Foundation, Peace Presbyterian Church, St. John Community Baptist Church, The Forgotten Pet Advocates and Young Life.
