Two runners from Pearland complete Orange Leaf Half Marathon

Two runners from Pearland completed the Orange Leaf Half Marathon on Saturday, July 14 in New Braunfels.

Dan Orth, 29, completed the race in 1:53:55, and Donald Frissell, 43, reached the finish line in 2:01:58.

A total of 378 runners finished the 13.1-mile race, which started in the parking lot of Orange Leaf-Creekside Shopping Center. The course is USA Track and Field-certified.

Noel Hernandez of Irving was the men’s overall winner with a time of 1:18:34, while Lauren Versweyveld of Houston was the women’s winner in 1:23:43.
