Alvin Senior Center to host transit, pedestrian workshop July 31
The Goodman Corp., Gulf Coast Center and Connect Transportation are seeking input as they develop a new public transportation plan for Alvin.
A transit and pedestrian workshop will be held from 5-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31 at the Alvin Senior Center, 309 W. Sealy St.
Input is needed on the new service, bus stop and shelter locations and pedestrian improvements. Maps, display boards and a rider survey will be available.
The study also is reviewing the pedestrian environment around potential transit routes and stops to ensure a convenient, accessible and comfortable ride for transit users.
