'21 Jump Street' is top DVD rental in Pearland

"21 Jump Street" was the most-rented DVD in Pearland for the week ending July 1, according to Redbox. Rentals from the Redbox kiosks at Walgreens at 6122 Broadway St., CVS Pharmacy at 2900 Broadway St. and Walgreens at 6122 Broadway St. were analyzed.

Starring Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Brie Larson and Dave Franco, "21 Jump Street" was released in June.

Following "21 Jump Street" in Pearland were "A Thousand Words" and "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows."

Nationally, the most-rented DVDs were, in order, "21 Jump Street," "A Thousand Words," "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows," "This Means War," "The Grey," "John Carter," "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island," "Red Tails," "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" and "Project X (2011)."
