Alvin Community College hosts free AutoCAD workshop July 14

Alvin Community College will host a free AutoCAD workshop from 9 a.m.- noon on Saturday, July 14 in Building N, Room 108, 3110 Mustang Road.

AutoCAD is 2D- and 3D-software used by architects, engineers and drafters.

The workshop covers basic computer drafting and design techniques, an introduction to 2D and 3D, 3D-model development and 3D-printer basics and application.

The parametric software Autodesk Inventor will also be introduced.

Class size is limited to 20.
