The Cheesecake Factory to open in Baybrook Mall

The Baybrook Mall in Friendswood reports that construction is under way to add The Cheesecake Factory to the mall's lineup along Bay Area Boulevard.

The new restaurant plans to open its doors in November 2012.

The Cheesecake Factory features an innovative and evolving menu in an upscale, casual atmosphere. The 8,096-square-foot building will feature the restaurant's trademark design with limestone floors, decorative columns and cherry wood. Patrons will be served in a spacious interior dining room and an outdoor dining terrace.

"With its extensive -- and delicious -- menu and reputation for quality, The Cheesecake Factory is an ideal fit," said Mary Evans, marketing manager for Baybrook Mall, in a press release. "The restaurant adds another dimension for our shoppers, and it's a nice addition to the area for residents who enjoy a good meal with excellent service."

The Cheesecake Factory at Baybrook Mall will be the California company's fifth location in Greater Houston and the only one in the Bay Area.
