Pearland Parks and Rec offers recreational basketball league
The Pearland Parks and Recreation Department will offer a summer basketball league for boys and girls ages 7-14.
The Pearland Parks and Recreation Department will offer a summer basketball league for boys and girls ages 7-14.
The league includes a full-court, five-on-five, seven-game season. The cost is $90 for residents and $120 for nonresidents; jerseys are included.
The league division and required ages are as follows: 8 and younger co-ed, ages 7-8; 10 and younger boys, ages 9-10; 12 and younger boys, ages 11-12; 14 and younger boys, ages 13-14; 10 and younger girls, ages 9-10; 12 and younger girls, ages 11-12; and 14 and younger girls, ages 13-14.
Games take place at Bailey Campus, 4717 Bailey Road in Pearland, and Pearland Junior High School South, 4719 Bailey Road in Pearland, and are regulated by the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation, the University Interscholastic League and Pearland Parks and Recreation.
