Friendswood High School senior recognized at state contest
Friendswood High School senior Vinnie Mahal, Class of 2013, was named an Outstanding Soloist at the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest for the second consecutive year.
Vinnie Mahal, a member of Friendswood High School's class of 2013, recently was named outstanding soloist for the second year in a row at the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest.
"To achieve such a distinction out of an initial 90,000 regional participants for two consecutive years is a major feat," said Janwin Overstreet Goode, choir director, in a press release.
Mahal was one of 252 students named outstanding soloist at this year's contest.
