Pearland presents 'Celebration of Freedom' July 4
Pearland's Celebration of Freedom Independence Day festivities will be held at the Pearland High School football stadium on July 4.
Admission and parking to the event are free. Shuttle service will be provided from both the Bailey Campus and the high school north lot.
The carnival opens at 2 p.m. and will feature face painting, inflatables and magicians. Gates will open at 6 p.m. for stadium and field seating for live band Drywater, VFW military salute and the national anthem. The fireworks will begin after sundown.
Food vendors will be available or guests can bring their own. Alcohol, pets, glass containers and tobacco are prohibited on the grounds. Pearland High is located at the intersection of State Highway 35 and South Main Street.
