Friendswood man found deceased

Police have released the name of the 21-year-old Friendswood man found dead on Saturday, June 16 in the 1000 block of Kress.

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences is still working to determine the cause of death of Friendswood resident Kevin Schoolmeyer, according to a Houston Police Department news release.

A witness reportedly told police that Schoolmeyer and a passenger were driving home from a downtown club when an angry Schoolmeyer pulled off the road and demanded that the passenger get out.

The passenger exited the vehicle and left the area but returned to find Schoolmeyer unresponsive.

Medics pronounced Schoolmeyer dead at the scene just after 6 a.m., according to the release.
