Pearland runner completes Swan Lake Marathon

Emerson Rhonda, 54, of Pearland completed the Swan Lake Marathon in 5:34:36.

The event was held June 10 in Viborg, S.D. A total of 86 runners finished the 26.2-mile race, which started at the Swan Lake Christian Camp, and ended near the camp bell.

Brenton Rains of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was the men’s overall winner with a time of 3:30:00, while Kim Reins of Vermillion, S.D., was the women’s winner in 4:13:21.
