Ready to graduate from high school and face the next step in his academic future, Travis Hamil said his proudest achievement is being accepted to Texas A&M University. He added that although he cannot wait to attend this fall, he will miss home, as he is close to his brother and sister. His life's goal is to become an independent, self-sufficient man who makes his parents proud.

Ambition: "I will attend the Texas A&M PATHS (Postsecondary Access and Training in Human Services) program next year. My long-term goal is to come back to Pearland High School and work as a life skills aide."
